IT Stagiaire

The assignment

As an IT Support Intern, you will become part of the IT team and support colleagues with their day-to-day IT questions. You will be the first point of contact for users and help resolve technical issues, both remotely and in the office. This will give you a clear understanding of how IT support works within an international organization.

During your internship, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing first-line support and resolving hardware, software and network issues;

• Managing user accounts, passwords, licenses and devices;

• Installing, configuring and deploying laptops and mobile phones;

• Registering and following up on incidents and requests via the ticketing system.

In addition, you will work with experienced IT specialists on projects related to infrastructure, workplace management and process improvements. This means you will not only develop technical skills, but also learn how IT makes an important contribution to the daily operations of an international trading organization.

During your internship, you will also become familiar with the technologies and systems used within our IT environment. You will work with Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, Intune and Windows Server to manage users, devices and applications. You will also gain experience with Cisco Meraki for network management, Citrix for virtual workplaces and applications, VMware for virtualized server environments and TeamViewer for remote support. This will give you a broad understanding of both modern cloud solutions and traditional IT infrastructure.

Who are you?

You are curious, service-oriented and energized by solving technical challenges. You take initiative, enjoy working with others and are not afraid to take responsibility

You also have analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, the ability to work well with others, flexibility and reliability. Ideally, you bring the following:

• You are currently enrolled in an MBO program in ICT, Computer Science, System and Network Engineering or a similar field;

• You have an affinity with IT support and system administration;

• You are eager to learn and want to gain practical experience in a professional IT environment;

• You have basic knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365 and networking;

• You are able to work both independently and as part of a team;

• You have a good command of both Dutch and English.
